Stridekeeper

For runners and walkers: one dead-simple app that plans today's session, reshuffles when life gets in the way, for a flat annual fee.

In plain English

What category is this?
Clinics, coaches, and consumers buy for care, fitness, or wellbeing workflows. Here the focus is consumer health & fitness.
The idea, briefly

Build one single-screen run/walk tracker with an Apple-Watch-first sync path and an adaptive plan that reshuffles the week when you miss a session, works with no race date, and costs one low flat annual fee instead of a coach-platform subscription.

Whether a flat ~$39/year run/walk coach wins share is an inference, because free tiers (Strava free,

Should you build this?

Everyday runners and walkers pay for this, and the job is simple: tell me what to do today, record it reliably from my watch, and don't punish me when I miss a week. The risk is that the low end is crowded (a free Strava tier, free apps, and $44.99/year trackers), Runna now owns the beginner segment outright after its January 2026 relaunch, and GPS tracking and generic plans are commodity, so a flat $39/year wins only if the sync and the adaptive plan are genuinely better than free. This is not guaranteed to work.
