Flat-Rate Per-Firm Home Inspection OS

Per-firm, unlimited-inspector-seat home inspection platform with unmetered base report creation (Spectora's optional Advanced add-on is the per-inspection meter), a contractual…

In plain English

What category is this?
Owners and teams buy to run day-to-day work — scheduling, projects, HR, ops. Here the focus is vertical SaaS.
The idea, briefly

Build a per-firm flat price (unlimited inspector seats) with no per-report meter on the base plan, a pay-per-report plan for part-timers, a contractual no-third-party-ads / no-data-sale term toward the inspector's own clients, and exportable data. NOTE: Inspector Toolbelt already markets a 'WE DON'T SELL YOUR DATA' page; Spectora's opened pricing lists referral product lines; and Spectora's opened competition page advertises a public API and AI Connector 'instead of a monthly export' plus Advanced 'Custom Data Exports & Reporting'. So neither privacy nor export is novel, and uniqueness rests on unlimited inspector seats, which no opened competitor offers at a flat per-firm price.

What buyers expect

People comparing tools like Spectora, HomeGauge (now owned by Spectora), Tap Inspect expect the basics to work without surprise fees or missing pieces. The loud complaints are: Low-volume and new inspectors balk at a fixed ~$99-109/mo; and subscriptions cost far more over time than the one-time licenses inspectors used to buy.

Multi-inspector owners dislike the high all-in cost.

Should you build this?

People already pay for this and the per-seat pricing is real and re-derived, but the flat-rate wedge is already partly occupied, the human-pain evidence is unverified, and one claimed differentiator (data export) is contradicted by the incumbent's own page. The only potentially defensible wedge is narrower: unlimited inspector seats at a flat per-firm price (no opened competitor offers unlimited seats) plus a contractual no-client-ads/no-data-sale term, aimed at 3-15 inspector firms.
