Two of Us — Flat-Fee Fertility Coach

A flat annual fertility tracker for couples trying to conceive: shared charts, clearer ovulation timing, and a doctor-ready report.

In plain English

What category is this?
Clinics, coaches, and consumers buy for care, fitness, or wellbeing workflows. Here the focus is consumer health subscription.
The idea, briefly

Build a flat-priced, no-auto-renew conception companion for couples that merges basal body temperature, LH strips, cervical mucus and wearable signals into one shared chart with a doctor-ready report, connecting the thermometer/strips/wearable the user already owns instead of bundling hardware.

What buyers expect

People comparing tools like Natural Cycles, Flo, Fertility Friend expect the basics to work without surprise fees or missing pieces. The loud complaints are: Natural Cycles' own policy is non-refundable, requires cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal, and states that deleting the app does not cancel the subscription; and billing complaints against Natural Cycles describe being charged the night before a planned cancellation and being refused refunds. Quoted from review text (snippet-only; the complaint page body is JavaScript-rendered and the page returned no readable body): 'Their billing, cancellation, and refund policies are the absolute worst. A joke. They automatically bill you and refuse to refund you once you’re billed. nd 'at this point I’ve been charged $250 for an app I did not even open. No refunds!'.

Should you build this?

People trying to conceive, and especially couples doing it together, may pay a small flat fee for confidence they are timing the fertile window right and for a clean report to bring to a doctor. The job: log temperature, ovulation strips, mucus and wearable data into one shared chart, get a clear 'try today' signal, and after a few months hand a doctor a real cycle history. The catch: being cheap and refusing to auto-renew is already done well by Fertility Friend, and Natural Cycles owns the FDA-cleared birth-control claim, so price alone will not win. The product only stands if its ovulation interpretation is visibly better on irregular and mis-predicted cycles and if the male partner actually gets something useful to do.
