Ops & productivity
Flat-Rate Independent Dental Practice OS
One flat monthly price per dental office for scheduling, charting, billing and patient texting — no server and no per-provider or per-claim fees.
In plain English
- What category is this?
- Owners and teams buy to run day-to-day work — scheduling, projects, HR, ops. Here the focus is vertical SaaS.
- The idea, briefly
Build one flat price per dental office that does not move with headcount: unlimited providers and unlimited workstations, eServices/patient texting, imaging and done-for-you migration included, no per-claim fee, cloud hosted with no server, and the same price in year two as year one. Caveat: the cheap cloud wedge is already partly taken — tab32 sells cloud dental software at $125/mo with migration and Open Dental is inexpensive and widely liked — so the only potentially novel packaging is unlimited providers/seats with no year-two jump and no claim meter.
More ▾- What buyers expect
People comparing tools like Open Dental, CareStack, tab32 expect the basics to work without surprise fees or missing pieces. The loud complaints are: Pricing meters the office across several axes at once, so a small practice pays for each one; and rip-and-replace migrations hit surprise line items.

Should you build this?
Who pays: independent dentists and office managers running a single-location practice. The job: run the whole office from one cloud system — schedule patients, chart, bill insurance, take payments and text patients — without buying a server or paying per provider, per workstation or per claim. It might not work because tab32 already sells cheap cloud software with migration included, Open Dental is inexpensive and well liked, switching means moving years of clinical and billing history, and a new entrant has to clear HIPAA and payer/clearinghouse work before anyone trusts it with patient records.
